As the third installment in the Fred Alley and James Kaplan “Men in Isolation” trilogy collaboration which included GUYS ON ICE and LUMBERJACKS IN LOVE, THE BACHELORS carries a similar humor to capture life in Wisconsin. The musical production, set in Madison, looks beyond the collaborations’ northwoods roots and heads to the city.

   If you enjoyed the highly popular Guys On Ice show last season, you can’t miss this production of The Bachelors! Fred Alley and James Kaplan, the creators of Guys, have reincarnated “Marvin” and “Lloyd” into Stew and John, who are being played by the same hilariously funny, and absolutely loveable actors as in Guys, Doug Mancheski and Steve Koehler. This time, the “Guys” are thirty-something roommates happily living “bachelor bliss” drinking beer and lounging in their boxer shorts in Madison. That is until Kate, a vengeful yet beautiful pizza delivery girl, walks into their lives, and eventually comes between them. As with the Guys On Ice production, two of Wisconsin’s finest professional theaters, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Door County's American Folklore Theatre, collaborate to bring laughter to the entire State. This is a show not to be missed!
