Dear performing arts patron,

    “Moments Like These!” is the theme for our 2011/2012 season and on behalf of the HCPA board of directors, I would like to welcome you to the 29th concert series.

   Your purchase of this year’s very affordable season ticket gives you admission to 6 big shows, at the best price and best seat. Our season opening grand show comes straight from Branson, MO and is a musical family, who were Top 10 finalists on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, “The Duttons.” A few weeks later, we take a page from Broadway and present the nostalgic music of George Gershwin, combined with musical theatre, and romantic comedy, “Embraceable You.” In early December we are pleased to present the largest holiday show we have ever head – internationally known Lorie Line and her Holiday Extravaganza! As the calendar page turns, we give you the spectacular British a cappella group “Voces8,” followed by an old favorite we were asked to bring back, “Riders In The Sky” and polish off our big season with our stage coming alive with the music of John Denver presented by Jim Curry’s

“Take Me Home: A Tribute to John Denver.” You won’t believe your ears and eyes as the spirit of Denver is captivated by what many say is the best rendition in America.

    This season is made possible not only by the close partnership we have with the Northland Pines School District, but also through the generous donations of our patrons and our business community partners who advertise within these pages.
